How does web forwarding work?

Web forwarding works so that when people type your domainname into their browsers, your website appears on their screen. Your domain name remains in the browser bar. Thistype of web forwarding is sometimes known as "masked web forwarding" or "web masking", because it "masks" the real URL of your website.

Because web forwarding uses a 100% framed forward to your site, your own webpage title and meta tags are overridden by the outer frame. The 19jawebhosting web forwarding package allows you to specify your title and meta tags (description, keywords, author) for this outer frame.
